Invest in Your Employees’ Continued Learning, and Everybody Wins

Grow and Develop Your People and Your Business

It’s well documented that recruiting, training and bringing up to speed a new hire can be much more costly than working to keep an existing employee engaged. KMA knows that when businesses regularly invest in their employees, those employees feel more personally and professionally valued, fulfilled, and are more likely to stay. The work force is operating at optimized levels, goals are met, customers and clients are happy, and everyone benefits.

At KMA, we offer a broad range of classroom-based training programs designed to advance regular employee development. Many of our courses qualify for CEUs from HRCI and SHRM. Below are the exciting courses we’re offering in the months of February and March. We would love to have you and your team join us for any or all of these sessions.

Understanding Decision Making (9:30-11:30 am)

Decision-making may sound simple, but when broken down it is actually multi-dimensional. This program sorts through these complexities, helping make sure participants’ decision-making practices are sound, clear to all parties, and guide individuals and groups toward well thought out and actionable solutions.

Social Styles – Understanding Personality Types (1:00-3:00 pm)

Relating well to others, especially in the work environment, is foundational to producing your best work. The Social Styles workshop provides you with an opportunity to develop productive relationships. Sometimes the differences between people can become a major source of conflict and even prevent team members from focusing on the work at hand.

This program helps participants figure out how to bridge gaps that can easily occur because of different styles of assertiveness and the degree to which others openly share their thinking.

Cost to attend is $125 per session or $200 for both sessions. If you register more than one person from your organization, each additional attendee is only $100 a session.

Engaging Millennials to Their Full Potential (9:30-11:30 am)

Today’s work environment is seeing the fast influx of the next generation. The Millennials, also known as generation Y, were born between the years of 1984 and 2000. Yes, they have arrived and they are very eager to take on responsibilities and make a difference through their work. But hold on a moment, this population is leaving other generations scratching their heads with wonder about some common traits: their values, work habits and sense of entitlement to name a few. In this course, we will explore some typical behaviors observed in millennials and understand the whys behind them. Participants can expect to discover the best of what this generation has to offer, and how to work with its members effectively and productively.

Recruiting the Right Talent (1:00-3:00 pm)

Making the right hiring decisions that lead to longevity, requires a well-thought out plan. In this program participants will learn the key essentials for creating a recruiting strategy to attract and hire the best talent who will fit in with your company culture.

Cost to attend is $125 per session or $200 for both sessions. If you register more than one person from your organization, each additional attendee is only $100 a session.
