Delegating begins with making sure there is a clear vision of the work others need to perform.     • Are you worried about unfounded accusations and your company’s response to the problem of sexual harassment?

    We have an expert in our own backyard: Suzanne Benoit, LCSW, SPHR, SHRM-SCP. Suzi has been writing and working with companies on various aspects of predatory workplace behavior for 18 years. Believing that we need a completely new paradigm, she has developed a more effective approach to preventing workplace sexual harassment.

    The traditional human resource community approach of relationship disclosure agreements has been a disappointment. A comprehensive approach must start with company values and culture and be rounded out with aligned HR practices. Human behavior, especially sexual or abusive urges, is not changed by policies and rules. We must be willing to talk about romance, trauma, men’s roles, and negative power dynamics at play when uncomfortable behavior arises.

    This interactive session will examine current events, culture and a continuum of offense and consequence. We will also discuss why the old ways aren’t working and discover a leading-edge approach from a uniquely qualified expert in this area.

    This event is free and includes a light breakfast offering.
